A question I’m often asked regarding my work pertains to the inspiration I draw from when in the creative process of a new collection.  Often times it’s catching a glimpse of a sunrise as it peaks over the New York skyline or pops of nature as I’m walking around the city. Happy Spring! NYC is warming up (a bit) and we are enjoying exciting things here at Alyson Renee.  A few weeks ago I was selected to pitch Alyson Renee to NYC Retailer 'Story' owner Rachel Shechtman & Home Shopping Network's CEO Mindy Grossman. I'm truly feeling so grateful for these opportunities and the incredible feedback received. Rachel (Story owner) loved trying on the new silk sarong & excitedly asked if we could do an in-store workshop to make them. I wish we could recreate these pieces in a day workshop, but the process can take 8-10 hours and be quite messy....
