Happy Spring! NYC is warming up (a bit) and we are enjoying exciting things here at Alyson Renee.  A few weeks ago I was selected to pitch Alyson Renee to NYC Retailer 'Story' owner Rachel Shechtman & Home Shopping Network's CEO Mindy Grossman. I'm truly feeling so grateful for these opportunities and the incredible feedback received. Rachel (Story owner) loved trying on the new silk sarong & excitedly asked if we could do an in-store workshop to make them. I wish we could recreate these pieces in a day workshop, but the process can take 8-10 hours and be quite messy....

We hope you're enjoying the new Spring season upon us. We can just smell the new blossoms ready to show off the season's brilliance, the longer days and spending more time in the fresh air. It was such a fun day shooting the new Alyson Renee collection, once again at Drift Studio NYC. Being joined with such a talented crew makes working very fun.  It was great to see the new designs come to life.  New hand-dyed luxurious silks in earthy pastels coming to the website soon:) Kimonos, caftans, sarongs & ponchos, oh my!
